The puteketeke’s was crowned Bird of the Century in November 2023. Of course, Australia claims it as its own (Crested Grebe)! Flamboyantly crested and dressed in vibrant plumage the puteketeke commands attention as it glides effortlessly across the water. I think this bird’s striking appearance and confident demeanor reflect the bold spirit of New Zealanders.

This artwork is printed on high quality Epson Enhanced 192gsm matte paper. This paper enables images with sharp detail, high colour saturation and a high gamut. It is quick drying with a flat matte finish and a bright white base that accentuates highlights and tones. 

Your print will carry Steve’s digital signature and print number on the bottom right hand corner.
