The hidden lake is called Arethusa Pool, and is nestled atop Mou Waho Island in Lake Wānaka. Get this – it’s a serene lake on an island, within a lake, on an island! This glacially-carved tarn sits approximately 150 meters above Lake Wānaka, offering a unique and tranquil oasis amid the Southern Alps. It’s also a natural infinity pool.
