The vibrant lupins that line Lake Tekapo’s edge in spring and summer were introduced by a farmer’s wife who wanted to brighten up the rugged landscape. On rare winter days, the lake partially freezes, transforming into a surreal icy tableau that contrasts sharply with the surrounding mountains. Each season paints the lake’s shores differently—vivid lupins in spring, golden tussocks in summer, and snow-dusted peaks in winter. Magnificent, no matter when you see it.

“Lake Tekapo" is a landscape art print, printed on high quality Epson Enhanced 192gsm matte paper, so you’ll get images with sharp detail, high colour saturation and a high gamut. It is quick drying with a flat matte finish and a bright white base that accentuates highlights and tones.
