This is the South Island Lake Rotoiti, not the one in the Bay of Plenty (North Island). The Maori name for Lake Rotoiti is way too long for me to remember, let alone pronounce, so if I cant, I doubt you'll be able to either. you'll find Lake Rotoiti in the Tasman Region on New Zealand's South Island, within Nelson Lakes National Park. If you're a keen hiker as I am, its a popular multi-day tramp, with incredible scenery and wildlife to see.
