Carmel Beach is a pretty face, a surfer's dream and a dog's paradise – so I was able to get my puppy fix while missing my own dog back in New Zealand. You know, Clint Eastwood once played mayor here. I wonder if it was Clint who came up with the 'no high heels' law. Didn’t bother me, I’m more of a jandals kind of guy.
