Land Sculpture
This series of artworks was inspired by a project I undertook at 18 for my 7th form bursary. Back then, I created triangular sculptures from corrugated iron and placed them on the beach, igniting a lifelong fascination with metallic elements in the landscape. I love the way these sculptural forms, with their sharp angles and curvy shapes, juxtapose against the organic backdrop. My love for golden, brooding tussocky landscapes, especially in the McKenzie Country of New Zealand's South Island, infuses each piece. These artworks are a tribute to the dynamic tension and harmony between human creativity and the timeless beauty of nature.
